Air Cote D’Ivore is the main airline in Ivory Coast. Found in the year 2012, the main activities of this airline are flying passengers across countries. Its main aim is to serve the main Ivory Coast airlines and many other African destinations. It has its main hub at the Felix Houphouet Boigny. It has been certified by the IATA and has succeeded Air Ivoire. It has a steady partnership with the Air France KLM which has two airbuses at its disposal two A319 Airbuses. Latest Flybe departure from London Gatwick Airport

Flybe has now confirmed that it has brought to an end a record of giving high frequency air services from the regions in the UK to the airport. This has been confirmed to the London Stock Exchange and it has also made a sale of its slots of departure and arrival at the London Gatwick airport. Flybe has had a 22 year record of service with the airport. It will however continue to fly to all the other routes till March 2014. Now the slots have been purchased by easy Jet. This decision is due to a pricing routine that the owners of the airport applied on the operators of small aircrafts. Though Flybe complained that the Gatwick Authority was behaving in a very discriminatory and anti competitive manner, yet the CAA ruled in the month of September 2012, that the airport had the right to increase  [...]

Samoa Airline’s Pay by Weight Pricing

Samoa Airline, a very miniscule airline in Australia and South Pacific has hit the headlines recently as it has introduced flights that will charge air fare based on passenger weight. Tickets will not be sold by seat but by weight. Some time back Samoa Air began pricing the international flights based on the weight of the passenger. Each kilogram would cost 93 cents to $1.06. Any average passenger from America weighing 195 pounds with a 35 pound bag will have to pay $97 for a single way flight between Pago Pago, Samoa, and Apia. Normally the others in competition charge $130 for such routes and flights. The weight based pricing was started sometime last year and this has been in use since November last year. United Airlines updates its cabins, adds flat-bed seating on “P.S.” flight

United Airlines recently renovated its cabins and brought in its first aircraft with flat bed seats. The interiors are totally new and there is a provision for personal entertainment on demand. With USB ports, seat power this airline has lot of facilities for “P.S” or Premium Service. United Flight Number 651 left with all these new facilities, from Los Angeles to John.F.Kennedy International Airport. This “P.S” service is available on all the non stop flights between Los Angeles and New York Kennedy airports. With around 40 plus flights every week, it is a helpful service in this route. With the 28 flat bed premium cabin seats, taking the place of 12 angled reclining seats and 26 reclining seats in the premium cabins, the experience is different now. Adam Air Indonesia was a private airline based in West Jakarta. There were domestic services that operated to more than 20 cities locally and at least to many international locations like Singapore and Penang. It is an independent airline and has its headquarters in Schwechat. Lauda Air was found in the year 1979 in April by Niki Lauda who was the earlier Formula One world motor racing champion. It began its operations in the year 1985. It had charter and air taxi services in the beginning.
