Logan International Airport (BOS) is recognized as the General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport which is located in the East Boston at Massachusetts of United States. This airport is among the 20 busiest airports in the US that serves more than 26 million passengers every year. It serves as the focus city for AirTran Airways, American Airlines and JetBlue Airways. The airport covers an area of about 2,384 acres and has six distinct runways. Also this airport has employed nearly 16,000 people. It is the 12th busiest airport in USA as per the international traffic. It is the largest airport in New England. All the six runways of Logan International Airport are Runway 4L/22R: 7,861 x 150 ft, Surface: Asphalt; Runway 4R/22L: 10,005 x 150 ft, Surface: Asphalt; Runway 9/27: 7,000 x 150 ft, Surface: Asphalt, Runway 14/32: 5,000 x 100 ft, Surface: Asphalt, Runway 15L/33R: 2,557 x 100 ft, Surface: Asphalt and Runway 15R/33L: 10,083 x 150 ft, Surface: Asphalt. Transfer between the terminals is linked by the shuttle bus services. It also links the airport subway station, Water Transport Terminal and satellite parking.

To reach to the airport from the city, drive to the Massachusetts Turnpike East from the West and South that are linked with the Ted Williams Tunnel and could be reached to the airport directly from there. From the northern direction you either need to follow the I-93 and go through the Callahan Tunnel or through I-95 to Route 1 South. After that, follow the signs to 1A South to Logan Airport. You can park your car at the airport where short and long term parking could be found located at the central car park. This park is connected to the Terminals A, B, C and also E through pedestrian bridges or through elevated moving walkways.

For transportation you have subway, train, bus, taxi and water that will take you to your destination wherever you want to go in the city. For information the airport provides some qualified public service representatives who will solve problems of the callers related to ground transportation, commuting, airline support services and weather operations. Besides this, a Travelers Aid Kiosk could be found in the Terminal E in Arrivals level close to the exit towards taxi stand.
