It is now a month after the highly clouds of volcanic ashes in Europe has disrupted all the flights to and from the continent. All the flights and the airports were badly hit by the ash clouds that covered the sky heavily. Volcanic ashes in Europe were actually emerged from Iceland, which after some continuous days was come to a halt. Seems like the world called Europe was stopped without functioning further.
Unfortunately, the world is again responding slowly, as the volcanic ash clouds were again started hitting the continent and the airports heavily. Now this condition is leading to the closure of almost all the airports, especially in Southern Europe. Just before two to three days, the airports were again shutting its door, and the major reason behind this is the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull. In some of the regions, the skies were clear and so the flights were resumed after a weekend of the cancellations. Well, the cancellation of flights took much of the work again in halt across the southern as well as central Europe.
Due to a change in the wind direction, Spain is now suffering the shut down operations at four different airports in the Canary Islands. In fact, this led to closure of other three airports located on the southern mainland. Two airports on Tenerife, and the other airports that lie on La Palma as well as on La Gomera was suspended, due to the same reason. However, until now the flights has been resumed and is functioning as per the schedule. Apart from this, the airports located in Seville, Badajoz, and Jerez has shut their operations later after a short time.
It was some 500 flights that took off across the continent due to the ash cloud that later forced the transatlantic flights to operate its functions to and from North America. So with such delays in reaching to the destination, it is highly recommended to the travellers to check out the condition of Iceland and the entire Europe and then head for it. You may be trapped in between somewhere that will later make you irritated.
