Gatwick north terminal



The North Terminal is the latest addition to Gatwick’s terminals, and is the hub for charter airlines such as ThomsonFly, First Choice Airways, in addition to the British Airways.

There are a whole range of facilities and amenities at the Gatwick North Terminal that are tailor made to be of service to all kinds of passengers, from those traveling with kids in tow, disabled travelers or those having Special Needs to business and executive travelers.

There is a plethora of services in the terminals that are meant to make the journey a lot easier, and these are inclusive of cash facilities and bureaux de change (foreign exchange facilities), baggage and luggage and communication facilities. There are a good number of other facilities besides these ones, and these are inclusive of the following –

  • Departures Amenities

Checking In

Check in is at the third level of the Gatwick North Terminal. Make sure you arrive well ahead of time so that enough time is left for you to go through security. It is advised that you follow these instructions with regards to time –

  • Check in 1 hour before departure for Domestic flights
  • Check in 2 hours before departure for European flights
  • Check in 3 hours before departure for International flights
Self Service Checking In

Self service check in is a useful service that is available with a number of airlines. This is simple, as well as safe for use, you can save a good amount of time at the airport. The service is available both via the internet or the kiosks at the airport. There are kiosks near the standard check in desks at the Gatwick north terminal.
