Paphos International Airport: Commonly used by tourists

Paphos International AirportThis airport is the second largest airport of the country and is commonly used by tourists for holidays in western Cyprus that offers access to well-known resorts like Coral Bay, Limassol and Paphos. A new terminal for Paphos was opened during November 2008 to serve the passengers. This airport serves 1,744,011 passengers every year. Facilities like 20 check-in desks, 5 gates, 14 aircraft stands, a bank, restaurants, cafeterias, bars, a duty free shop and a gift shop are available at the airport. For cargo airlines facilities like refrigerated storage, health officials and X-Ray equipment were been provided.

Along with this a new 4 lane road is also being designed to connect the airport and Paphos for the convenience of passengers. From this passengers and staff can avoid using the B6 Main road and E603 secondary road that gets too congested. Short-stay Cyprus visa is issued to the people residing in other country so that they can stay here less than three months and finish their tasks. You might need a transit visa for some circumstances. For short time you can stay at Cyprus as a transit passenger.

Drive to the airport from the city and for that you need to take B6 towards southeast and then turn onto E603. After that just follow the signs to the airport. Along with that, new car parking facility that offers long term parking with 24 hour security and free shuttle to the airport is also available.
